The singing competition show started way back in the year 2002, the network was Fox. Now in its 6th season the show has what it needs to keep people engaged in its singing contest.

The show’s success can also be contributed to the three people who sit on its judge’s panel. They are Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson. The host of the show is Ryan Seacrest as its host. The viewers participate in the show’s happenings through voting. The show is really popular and is still growing from strength to strength.

2) Making the Band:

Making the Band is also a reality based signing contest that has become even more popular over the years. Unlike the American Idol concept the focus here is on finding a group of individuals, who can be shaped as a band.

The show was premiered way back in the year 1999. At start it used to come on the ABC network, but soon it went on to MTV. Currently in its 4th season the singing competition has become really grueling. The lucky people who will be chosen as a group will be sent on tours to give interviews and live performances.

The first season formed an all male bad, the second formed a hip hop group, the third season resulted in the formation of an all female band and the fourth season again is focusing on an all male band.

I know it sounds crazy but it’s true… you really can learn a lot about MLM from watching American Idol. Don’t have a clue what I’m talking about? Well check this out! Remember for every Simon there is always a Paula. A.I. Rule Number Three: You gotta stand out! Boring people never make it on American Idol. Even if they are really talented and have great voices if you’re dull you’re probably not gonna make it past the first audition. If you really want to succeed in a home based business you’re going to have to learn to stand out. No you don’t have to dress in a chicken costume… well unless you want to. Just don’t blend it with everyone else! A.I. Rule Number 4: Don’t fake it You don’t have to pretend to be someone else to have success. You can have success in any business as long as you’re the best version of yourself. The voters, um I mean prospects, can always spot a fake and nobody likes a phony.
